Dressed walling stone
- sawn on a bed making it easy to lay, the stone is then cropped to random lengths and the face is hand-dressed giving a natural finish. We can supply dressed walling stone as either uniform heights or as random heights, gauged to work with standard blockwork in 3’s, 4’s, 5’s and 6’s (65, 90, 115, and 135 mm).
Semi-dressed walling stone
– the stone is cropped to a reasonable building size and then hand-dressed, giving it a natural rustic, rubble appearance. This type of stone takes a little more time to lay, but when done carefully, the results are astounding.
Ashlar walling stone – this type of walling stone is sawn on 6 sides, giving it a uniform and smooth appearance. It has beautiful, natural patterns and is ideal for contemporary and commercial builds. The square edges and even faces give uniform appearance.
Hadspen dry stone walling - handpicked directly from our own quarry ensuring quality and consistency. No mortar is used in dry stone walling, except for the capping stones to prevent them from being removed.
